Mindwipe Castle is a mystery adventure in which Anne, a skilled mechanic without magical powers, investigates plots unfolding inside a castle. Its central activities include examining clues, solving puzzles, making dialogue choices, and building relationships while she confronts villains and a larger mystery.
Investigating the castle and its mysteries
Players are encouraged to examine objects, explore the castle, and pay attention to conversations for clues. These investigation actions are presented as ways to uncover hidden truths and follow each villain’s plot. The source describes the castle’s mysteries as connected to mind control and supernatural abilities, but does not specify a fixed method for solving every case.
Puzzles and decisions
Puzzle-solving is one of the game’s interactive mechanics, alongside dialogue choices and investigation. Players make decisions as they work through challenges, while the source recommends approaching puzzles creatively. It does not detail particular puzzle rules or describe how individual dialogue options change the story, so those outcomes are not specified.
Relationships and the characters
Anne encounters a cast of characters with their own motivations, secrets, and agendas. Building alliances and friendships is another part of play; the source says other characters may offer insights and assistance, without explaining specific relationship effects. This social element sits alongside Anne’s investigation rather than replacing it. The story frames her as a resourceful mechanic facing opponents with plots and abilities, as she tries to unravel the castle’s broader enigma.
