Geometry Dash is a rhythm-based endless runner game where players control a geometric icon through obstacle-filled levels by tapping the screen in time with the music.
Core Gameplay Loop
Each attempt requires millisecond-precise jumps or mode switches to avoid spikes, blocks, and moving hazards. The icon changes behavior across supported modes such as cube, ship, and wave, with each mode altering how taps affect movement. Successful navigation through a level ends with a completion reward, while collisions return the player to the start of the attempt.
Official Levels and Rewards
Dozens of developer-created levels provide increasing challenge. Completing these levels unlocks chests that grant rewards, encouraging repeated play to master timing and patterns.
Level Editor and Community Content
The built-in editor lets players design and share custom levels. Users can also load and attempt stages created by others, extending play beyond the official set through an active community library.
Developer and Platforms
Robert Topala of RobTop Games developed Geometry Dash, originally releasing it in 2013 for Android and iOS before expanding to other systems. Ongoing updates maintain the core rhythm-action experience.
