wim is an Android app that supplies daily prayer times for multiple cities in Norway according to the Hanafi madhab. The main task it addresses is helping users plan their day around the five prayer obligations without missing times. It does so by letting users select their city and view the schedule for that location on a clean interface. The clearest supported benefit is the ability to keep prayer times handy whether at home or traveling within Norway, since the schedule remains available without an internet connection. Customizable notifications can be set to alert users at the appropriate moments, and the calculation method can be adjusted to match personal preference. All information is presented as accurate and up-to-date for the chosen cities.
How does wim display prayer times for different cities in Norway?
Users first choose a city from the provided list of Norwegian locations. The app then shows the daily prayer times calculated for that city under the Hanafi madhab. This allows quick reference to the schedule for the current day and supports planning around each prayer.
What settings can users adjust in the app?
Notification alerts for prayer times can be turned on or off according to preference. The calculation method itself is also selectable so the displayed times align with the chosen approach. These options keep the app aligned with individual routines.
Does wim require an internet connection to show prayer times?
No internet connection is needed once the app is installed. Prayer schedules for the selected Norwegian cities remain accessible offline, making the information available at any time during travel or in areas with limited connectivity.
Who is likely to find wim useful?
Anyone living in or visiting cities in Norway who follows the Hanafi madhab and wants a straightforward way to track daily prayer times will find the app relevant. Its offline capability and city-based selection suit users who need reliable schedules without extra complexity.
