VPN Indonesia - get free Indonesian IP is an Android VPN app built around one main purpose: connecting the device to an Indonesian IP address so users can reach websites and apps that may be restricted where they are. According to the description, the app is intended for changing an IP address, accessing blocked content, and browsing with more privacy.
Connecting to an Indonesian IP address
The description says the app uses OpenVPN connection technology and encrypts data with a 1,024-bit key. Its connection controls include two separate buttons. One connects to a VPN selected from the list, and the other connects directly to an Indonesian VPN with a single click. Users who need a different IP address can select a server in another country and establish a connection from there.
Accessing blocked websites, apps and networks
The app is described as a way to bypass lockdowns and regional restrictions introduced by an Internet Service Provider. The source names access to blocked websites, VoIP networks and video calls, and bypassing firewalls at school or other places. It also states that the app can help unlock torrents.
Privacy and selective VPN use
The description says the app provides anonymous access to websites and apps and can be used for torrent downloading while changing the user's IP address. A VPN filter feature is also described, which allows the VPN to be used only with the apps the user selects. These are the developer's descriptions of the app and have not been independently verified here.
Documented details and gaps
The app is listed in the Tools category and attributed to the developer AltApps. The description does not specify which countries or servers are available beyond Indonesia and the general option of choosing a server in another country. It also does not provide a supported Android version or details on how the connection performs in practice.
