VPN Express - Private Internet, Secure & Free VPN is a VPN app described as supporting private browsing through data encryption and protection for network traffic. Its stated purposes also include using Wi-Fi hotspots with an added layer of protection and accessing websites and apps that are blocked on a network or restricted by location.
Encryption and Wi-Fi hotspot protection
The app’s description says it encrypts data to add security while browsing and protect personal information. It also specifically identifies Wi-Fi hotspot protection: the intended use is to protect network traffic when connected to a hotspot. These are described functions, not a guarantee that browsing is anonymous or that all personal information is protected.
The source does not explain encryption settings, connection controls, or how the app handles a connection. It also provides no technical details about which traffic is covered, so the scope of the described protection cannot be determined from the listing.
Multiple proxy servers and access
VPN Express lists multiple proxy servers as a way to browse as if connecting from another country. The description connects this function with bypassing firewalls and opening websites and apps that may be blocked. It also mentions social networks and video and movie services as examples of content users may want to access across geographic restrictions.
The listing does not identify server locations or explain how users choose a proxy. It describes access as a purpose of the servers rather than providing details about which sites or services will be available. The app is presented as a tool for private browsing and proxy-based access, with hotspot traffic protection as a related use.
