Ultimate Guitar: Chords & Tabs Mod is designed for finding guitar, bass, and ukulele chords, tabs, and lyrics when you want song-based material for playing or practice. The catalog is described as containing more than 800,000 songs, with search options that help narrow results by type, difficulty, tuning, and rating.
Finding material for a particular song or playing level
When you know what you want to play, the search tools provide several ways to refine the catalog. Filtering by type can help distinguish the available material, while difficulty gives users a way to focus on pieces suited to their current level. Tuning and rating filters add further selection criteria, which is useful when a song has multiple arrangements or when a particular setup is preferred.
Using curated collections for guided practice
The app also includes collections curated by professional guitarists. These collections organize songs into playlists rather than leaving every choice to an individual search, giving users a documented source of selected material for learning and inspiration. The source presents this feature as suitable for both beginners and more experienced players.
Playing along with effects and song resources
Tonebridge Guitar Effects is described as supporting play-along sessions for more than 15,000 popular songs with their original sound. This gives the app a separate use from simply reading chords or tabs: users can work with listed effects while playing songs covered by the feature.
Adjusting the display and access preferences
Several controls address how the material is viewed and used. The description lists offline access, a left-handed mode, customization options, video refresh, and dark mode. These settings can be selected according to the user's viewing preference or playing orientation, while offline access is identified as a way to access material without an active connection.
Expanding practice tools with a Pro account
For users with a Pro account, the listed additions include interactive tabs, HQ tabs, backing tracks, a metronome, a guitar tuner, chord variations, a simplify function, and autoscroll. Together, these tools cover interactive tab reading, timing, tuning, alternate chord presentations, easier arrangements, and hands-free progression through material. The source does not provide pricing or subscription terms for the Pro account.
