Teer VPN | Fastest VPN Service is an Android app for connecting to the internet through a VPN proxy. The source describes support for anonymous browsing, access to websites and apps that may be restricted by location, and a free VPN feature.
VPN connection and access
The app provides a VPN connection intended to protect browsing activity and mask the device's IP address. This is presented as a way to browse more anonymously and reduce the visibility of online activity to third parties.
Its proxy can be used when accessing websites, social media platforms, streaming services, and VoIP services. The description also presents the app as a way to reach online services when traveling or using the internet in a region with geographic restrictions. These capabilities are described as applying to websites and apps rather than to one specific service.
Server choice and connection handling
Teer VPN | Fastest VPN Service recommends choosing a server close to the user's location. According to the supplied guidance, a nearby server may help reduce latency and support faster connection speeds.
The app includes a kill switch setting. When enabled, it is described as disconnecting the device from the internet if the VPN connection drops, rather than leaving the device connected without the VPN route.
Split tunneling
Split tunneling allows users to select particular apps or websites to bypass the VPN connection. The source identifies this as useful for reaching local services or websites that may not work as expected while traffic is routed through a VPN.
These settings give users control over how the VPN connection is used: the server selection affects the connection route, the kill switch addresses interruptions, and split tunneling limits VPN routing for selected destinations.
