Super Chat is a social messaging app for communicating with contacts and other people through SMS and multi-person chats. It also brings together file sharing, posts, news, and short videos, so users can access several types of social content alongside their conversations.
Messaging with contacts and other people
The app supports sending and receiving SMS messages. For this messaging feature, the recipient must also have Super Chat installed. The description says users can chat with people in their contacts or meet new people in the app, and it also identifies multi-person chats as a supported way to communicate. Phone-number verification is described as part of getting started.
File sending and receiving are also listed among the app’s communication tools. The description presents these alongside personal conversations and communication at work, but does not specify file types or other sharing controls. A built-in AI assistant provides another chat option: users can ask it questions, and the source describes it as intended to help with those queries.
Posts and social interactions
Super Chat includes posts from other users that people can view, like, and comment on. Users can also share posts with friends or through other platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. A save control is described for keeping posts in the app. These features extend the app beyond direct messaging to browsing and responding to shared social content.
News and short videos
A dedicated News section presents headlines that users can open to read as full articles, with more stories available by scrolling. The Short Videos section is for browsing brief entertainment videos. Users can swipe to move through them and can like, comment on, or share videos with friends. The description does not provide further details about news sources or video creation controls.
