Story Maker is a photo-editing app listed in the Photography category by developer InShot Inc. Its listed purpose is to help people arrange photos into stories and posts that can be shared on social networking sites, with Instagram named as an example. The app's main functions cover layout, styling, and decoration, so the workflow moves from choosing a template to refining the image and adding finishing touches.
Building photo stories with templates
The description highlights a range of templates, backgrounds, and fonts for creating stories. Templates are presented as a way to keep a consistent theme across a series of posts. According to the source, users can choose from the available templates and customize them to reflect a personal style, which helps related images look cohesive when viewed together.
Editing and adjusting photos
For image adjustments, the source lists filters, effects, and controls for brightness, contrast, and saturation. These tools are described as a way to shape the overall look and feel of a photo before it is used in a story. The description does not specify which individual adjustments are available beyond those named, so the scope of the editing controls should be checked in the app itself.
Stickers, overlays, and decoration
Story Maker also supports stickers, emojis, icons, and illustrations as overlays on photos. The source presents these elements as a way to add personality and make a story more engaging for viewers. This is the most visual part of the feature set, and it sits alongside the templates and editing tools rather than replacing them.
Sharing and collaboration
The description says users can post finished images to social networking sites and interact with other users, including Instagram. It also suggests inviting friends to create stories together and combining photos. The source does not explain how invitations, shared projects, or interaction features work, so those details are not described here.
Developer and listing details
