Skate Spots & Videos－Shinner is an app for finding skateboarding spots, watching and sharing skating videos, and connecting with other skaters. Its spot search and community features are intended for riders exploring places to skate or looking to exchange ideas with people who share their interest.
Find spots by location and terrain
The app provides a database of skate spots from around the world. You can search for places in your area or explore spots at other destinations, and narrow your search according to preferences. Listings are categorized by difficulty level, terrain, and popularity, which can help you identify places that match the kind of skating you want to do, from challenging rails to ledges.
Search can also be adjusted around skill level and preferred terrain. For example, the source describes looking for a difficult rail or smooth ledges, so the spot tools are intended to help riders focus on locations with those characteristics. The app presents these categories as a way to browse and compare spots; the source does not specify additional listing details such as opening hours or access rules.
Watch and share skateboarding videos
Shinner includes videos uploaded by skateboarders. The described content ranges from street tricks to vert-ramp skating, and riders can watch videos shared by people in different parts of the world. The video area is presented as a place to enjoy skating footage, find inspiration, or observe tricks and different styles. Users can also share their own skateboarding videos, bringing their clips into the app’s video-sharing community.
Popular videos are one way to browse the content. The source suggests paying attention to techniques and styles shown in clips, but it does not describe a formal lesson or training program. The videos are shared skateboarding content rather than a specified set of instructional courses.
Connect with other skaters
The community features let users follow skaters, take part in conversations, and exchange tips and tricks. Riders can share their progress and ask others for advice, while following favorite or influential skaters provides another way to keep up with people in the community. The source also describes arranging skate sessions with like-minded individuals, extending the social features beyond watching and sharing videos.
Together, spot search, video sharing, and social interaction cover different parts of the skateboarding experience in one app. A rider might look for a spot suited to a preferred terrain, browse clips for ideas, and then use community conversations to exchange advice or organize a session. These are described capabilities; the source does not give further details about how sessions are arranged or how spot information is maintained.
