Save GTA SA is an Android app that provides save files for GTA San Andreas so players can continue the game from selected mission points. Instead of beginning a playthrough from the start, users can choose a downloaded save associated with a chapter or completed mission and place it in the game's folder.
Download saves for different mission points
The app's central function is its collection of GTA San Andreas save files. These files are described as being available after each mission, giving players access to different stages of the game. This can be useful when a player wants to revisit a particular part of the campaign or continue from a later chapter without replaying all earlier missions.
The documented examples include missions involving a bank robbery, aircraft, Pulaski, and Mr. Truth. The collection is presented as covering missions from GTA San Andreas, allowing users to select a save based on the part of the game they want to load.
Move a selected file to the game folder
Save GTA SA is intended to provide the save files through the app for downloading. After choosing a file, the described process is to move it to the game's folder so that it can be used with the game. The source states that this does not require installing mods or additional programs.
The app's guidance also suggests creating folders within the game's folder for individual chapters. Organizing files this way can make it easier to locate a specific save when several mission points have been downloaded. The source presents this as a practical way to navigate among available saves.
Replay and explore campaign missions
Using different save files allows players to return to favorite missions or try sections they may have missed during an earlier playthrough. The supplied information encourages experimenting with more than one mission rather than limiting use to a single familiar save.
The source describes the app as having a small footprint and as designed not to use much device storage. It is presented for use on Android devices, with the save files serving as the main content and purpose of the application.
Share selected saves
Users may also share particularly interesting or challenging save files with other GTA San Andreas players. The source suggests uploading saves to gaming communities or forums, although the sharing would take place through those communities rather than being described as a specific built-in app feature.
