Overview
Salone del Mobile.Milano supplies visitors with practical tools for the Milan design fair. The app supports ticket purchase, QR code scanning for product details, browsing of the exhibitor catalogue and storage of selected items in a personal area. Both design enthusiasts and industry professionals can use these functions to organise their time at the event and retrieve information directly from exhibits.
What You Can Do
⭐ Users purchase tickets directly in the app with a few taps on the phone.
⭐ Scanning a QR code at an exhibit displays detailed product information on screen.
⭐ The exhibitor catalogue can be browsed to locate brands and products of interest.
⭐ Selected items and events are stored in a reserved personal area for later reference.
⭐ Exhibitors who log in can access the Matchmaking feature to connect with potential partners.
Using the App
Visitors build a visit plan by searching the catalogue and marking must-see stands. Regular checks of the app surface updates on events and product launches. Exhibitors sign in with supplied credentials to activate Matchmaking and manage contacts during the fair.
Why It May Appeal
✅ The combination of on-site QR scanning and a personal saved area reduces the need for separate notes or printed materials.
✅ Ticket purchase and catalogue access are contained in one application, streamlining preparation for both first-time and returning attendees.
Things to Consider
❎ Some functions, such as Matchmaking, require exhibitor login credentials that are not available to general visitors.
