Russia VPN - Secure Proxy VPN is a Tools category Android app from Magnet VPN, listed as version 1.4. According to its description, the app encrypts your internet connection and lets you switch among servers in a global network with a single click, without complicated configuration.
Browsing on public or restricted networks
The description says the app encrypts your connection so that third parties cannot track your online activities, and it describes this as safer than a regular connection. It also names school and workplace firewalls as a situation where the app can help you reach blocked websites and services. The listing does not name specific services that will work, and it does not guarantee access to any particular site.
Reaching content from other regions
The app is described as having a global VPN network with servers in Russia, America, Europe, and Asia. You can change servers at any time by clicking the flag icon, which the description presents as a way to find a fast and stable connection. The listing also says the app can help you choose a server suited to your needs, so this control is the main way to pick a region.
Choosing which apps use the VPN
Rather than sending all activity through the VPN, the description says you can select specific apps to route through it, and it presents this as a way to optimize VPN use. The listing does not explain how app selection is set up, so users should check the in-app controls directly.
Network types and privacy approach
The source states that the app works with Wi-Fi, LTE/4G, 3G, and all mobile data carriers, so the same app is intended for different connection types. The developer also describes a no-logging policy, meaning the app does not keep logs of user activity on its servers. This is presented as a privacy assurance in the listing. The description does not provide independent verification of that policy.
Details the listing does not state
The description does not give a clear minimum Android version, pricing, or the full list of countries with servers. It also describes the interface as well designed, but that is the developer's own characterization and is not backed by a separate review.
