RH TUNNEL VPN is a VPN app described as encrypting online activity and supporting access to websites and apps that may be restricted by a network or region. Its stated purpose combines private browsing with access to online content, including when using public Wi-Fi.
Encrypted browsing and access
The app’s description says it encrypts online activities to help keep personal information and browsing history private. It also presents the VPN connection as a way to access websites and apps blocked by an internet service provider, network administrator, or regional restriction. These are described purposes, not a guarantee that every blocked service will be reachable or that all online risks are eliminated.
Public Wi-Fi is another stated use: the description says the connection is intended to protect data while browsing on such networks. It does not explain the encryption method, provide technical settings, or identify specific sites and networks that can be accessed.
VPN use for mobile gaming
The source also describes gaming-related uses. It suggests connecting to a VPN server near a game’s server location as a way to potentially reduce ping and latency; it does not promise that gameplay will be faster. For games with region-specific content or releases, it says users can change their virtual location to seek access to content associated with another region.
For mobile gaming over mobile networks, the app is described as encrypting data and protecting the connection. The description does not specify supported games, available server locations, or controls for choosing a server or virtual location. It states that root access is not required.
