Movie Collection by olbuappdev is a mobile tool designed to help users easily organize, manage, and keep track of their DVD and Blu-Ray movie library. By consolidating essential details such as descriptions, actor lists, and cover art into one convenient platform, the application lets you keep all your favorite films and television shows structured in one place. Users can quickly access external reviews, trailers, and additional information through direct links to IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metascore, and YouTube.
How do you add new movies to your library?
Adding new entries to your library is handled through multiple input methods to speed up cataloging. You can add titles manually by entering a title or keyword, or you can use the built-in barcode scanner for effortless organization. Once added, you can download movie posters and store comprehensive metadata for each item.
Can you track movies you have lent out to friends?
The app includes a dedicated borrowed movie tracker designed to help you remember who has borrowed your titles. This function prevents you from losing track of physical discs distributed to friends or family members.
How can you organize and sort your titles?
Movie Collection allows you to create multiple lists to categorize your physical media library effectively. Users can mark individual movies as seen, utilize various sorting and filtering capabilities, and apply different styling capabilities to personalize the appearance of their organized collections.
Who can benefit most from using this app?
This application is particularly useful for physical media collectors who want a digital ledger of their DVD and Blu-Ray inventories. While the free version limits users to 40 entries, an optional addon can be purchased to unlock unlimited entries for growing libraries.
