Manga Life - Manga & Comic Reader is a manga e-reader for reading manga and comic series on Android. The source describes it as a free manga app. Its central purpose is reading, and the supplied information focuses on how the reader can be adjusted and how titles can be kept available across devices and without a connection.
Reading controls and layout
The main reading controls described in the source include changing the background color and the orientation of the reader. Readers can choose to turn pages left or right, or use waterfall mode, which lets them scroll from top to bottom. According to the source, when a reader reaches the end of an episode, the next one loads automatically, so reading can continue without stopping between episodes.
Genres and translations
The source lists a broad set of genres, including Action, Romance, Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Martial Arts, Shounen, Supernatural, Historical, Horror, Mystery, Shoujo, Sci-fi, Mecha, Doujinshi, Seinen, School Life, Webtoons, and Drama. Manga translations are described as coming from several named sources, with new additions made daily. Translations are documented in English, Spanish, and French. The source also states that all manga is updated daily and that the app is updated with the latest installments.
Cloud sync and offline reading
Favorite manga titles can be synced to the cloud, which the source says allows reading to continue after changing phones and gives access across multiple platforms. Titles can also be downloaded to the device so they can be read offline. Streaming online requires an Internet connection, while downloaded manga is stored in the device's memory.
Limitations and requirements
The source notes two documented limitations. Online streaming requires a stable internet connection, and downloading manga for offline reading can use a significant amount of device memory. The supplied data does not include a verified minimum Android version, so compatibility should be checked on the app's store listing before installation.
