Malayalam Christian Songs is an Android app for finding and using Malayalam and English Christian song lyrics in personal worship and group settings. Its collection is described as containing more than 4,000 songs, including 3,058 Malayalam songs and 1,030 English songs. Lyrics can be accessed offline, making the app suitable for situations where an internet connection is not available.
Song collection and search
The library includes Malayalam and English songs, video songs, PPT and PDF songs, and Romanised versions of Malayalam Christian songs. A search function uses Unicode Malayalam font to help users locate songs and move through the collection. Favorites can be used to organize preferred songs, while custom song lists provide another way to arrange material for particular worship sessions.
Tools for worship gatherings
The Presenter Tool supports live streaming and projecting song content on larger screens or displays during gatherings and events. Lower Third support is also included for presentation use. For smaller congregations and family prayers, the Meeting Tool is designed to help organize and lead more intimate worship sessions.
Display and export options
Visual controls include graphics and multiple themes, along with a Slide Show feature for presenting song content. The app also supports Android tablets. The source states that a premium version can remove advertisements and export songs as PPT or PDF files; the supplied information does not specify its price or purchase terms.
