iNguoi - Tra Cứu Phạt Nguội is an Android app for looking up traffic violations recorded through images and reviewing related penalty information. It presents details such as the time and location of a violation, the violation itself, and the unit responsible for detecting it. The app also provides contact information for enquiries about a fine.
Violation and penalty information
Drivers can use the app to consult information about traffic offences and their associated penalties. The source describes a listing of different violation types, details about individual offences, and a list of penalty points. This information is intended to help users identify what has been recorded and understand the penalty information provided for it.
Follow-up and payment
For questions about a violation, the app includes contact details for the relevant authority. It also provides a direct link to an online fine payment page, so users can proceed to that page from the app. The source describes a link to online payment; it does not establish that payment itself is processed within iNguoi.
Data source and independence
The app states that its information is sourced from the Traffic Police Department of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security. It also states that iNguoi does not represent or have an affiliation with the government or an official organization. The app is presented as a way to retrieve penalty-related information, rather than as a government service.
