G Score-Golf score & sidegames helps golfers record round scores and review their performance. It brings scorekeeping together with side games, a golf course database and analysis tools, with options for saving golf-related photos and backing up data.
Scores and side-game results
The app lets players record scores during golf games and keep a history of their performance. Alongside the main score records, it supports side games including Bingo Bong Bang and Nearest to the pin. Results from these games can be recorded with golf scores, keeping the side-game activity associated with a round’s score information.
Course information before a round
G Score-Golf score & sidegames includes a database of major golf courses, with coverage described for Japan, Southeast Asia, America and Australia. Course information includes layouts, ratings and reviews. Players can consult these details when preparing to play a course, using the available course information to become familiar with its layout and rating.
Reviewing golf performance
Analysis features cover scores and putt numbers, as well as trends in tee shots and approaches. Reviewing these records can help players see how their performance varies across those areas. The app’s stated analysis tools focus on tracking and examining playing data rather than only storing a score for each round.
Photos and score-data transfer
Players can add score information and golf course names to commemorative photos, then share those images with friends and fellow golfers. The app also provides backup and restore functionality for its data. This can be used when moving to a new smartphone to transfer backed-up information, according to the source description.
