Freetour.com - travel app is designed for travelers who want to see a city through the eyes of people who know it well. The supplied listing describes a way to find and book free tours in cities around the world, led by local guides who share the history, culture, and everyday life of each place.
Finding and booking a tour in an unfamiliar city
When you arrive somewhere new, you can browse the tours available in the app and reserve a spot with a few taps. You can also view photos and videos for each tour, which can help you choose the option that fits your plans. Bookings are described as receiving instant confirmation.
Choosing from several tour styles
Besides free tours, the listing mentions budget guided tours, themed walking tours, night tours, pub crawls, day trips, and unique excursions. This range lets you pick an experience that matches the time you have, whether that is a short evening outing or a full day trip beyond the city center.
Deciding what to pay after the tour
The listing describes a pay-what-you-like approach. At the end of the tour, you decide how much the experience was worth to you and pay the guide accordingly. This means the price is not fixed in advance for each tour.
Checking reviews before you book
The app includes reviews and ratings from users who have already taken the tours. According to the listing, this feedback comes from people who completed the experience, which can help you judge a guide or itinerary before you reserve a place.
Cost and app access
The app is described as free to download and use, with no booking fees or hidden charges. The supplied information also lists version 2.6.9 and the Travel category. Device compatibility was not clearly stated in the supplied details, so check the app store listing for requirements that apply to your phone.
