Food Basics is a grocery shopping app for viewing weekly deals, accessing coupons and finding nearby Food Basics stores. It also provides a digital receipt option and notifications about offers and promotions.
What coupon and flyer information can you access?
The app includes weekly coupons for big brands that can be redeemed at checkout using a smartphone. A smartphone-friendly weekly flyer lets shoppers browse the deals and discounts presented there. These features put coupons and flyer offers in digital form, rather than relying on paper coupons or a printed flyer.
How can the app keep you informed about offers?
Push notifications can alert users to offers and promotions. The app describes these alerts as a way to hear about promotions as they become available. They complement the weekly flyer and coupons, giving shoppers more than one place to check for deal information.
Can you receive a purchase receipt by email?
Food Basics offers a digital purchase receipt sent by email. The description says this option can reduce contact at checkout and help limit paper use. It is an alternative receipt format; the source does not specify how long receipts remain available or how they can be managed after delivery.
Does Food Basics help locate a store?
A store finder is included to locate a nearby Food Basics store. This is useful for shoppers looking for a store location, while the coupons, flyer and receipt features address other parts of the shopping experience. The supplied information does not detail additional store information or navigation functions.
