File Transfer: smart switch is an Android app for sending and receiving files wirelessly over Wi-Fi without an internet connection. Its sharing tools cover common files and media as well as documents, applications, and contacts.
Send and receive files over Wi-Fi
The app supports transferring files in both directions, so it can be used to send or receive content. The description specifically mentions music and videos, alongside documents and other files. Transfers are described as wireless and using Wi-Fi, without needing internet access or a wired connection. This is the central file-sharing function; the source does not specify transfer steps, supported file formats, or a speed measurement.
Share applications and contacts
A phone-clone feature is described for sending or transferring files, documents, and applications to another person who has the app installed. This is presented as a way to share selected content, not as a documented complete-device migration. Contact transfer is also available as a separate supported content type. Together, these functions extend sharing beyond music and video to include applications and contacts.
Connection and scope
The listed transfer method is Wi-Fi, while the description says an internet connection is not required. It does not provide further details about device setup, Wi-Fi requirements, or how recipients accept transfers. The documented purpose is therefore straightforward: use the app to exchange supported content wirelessly, including files, media, documents, applications, and contacts.
