Decolar helps travelers search for flights and plan bookings for trips using their departure city, destination and travel dates. The app brings together flight, accommodation and rental-car options, with tools for narrowing searches and assembling a package from selected travel services.
Search flights and accommodation
For flights, enter the departure and destination cities along with the dates of travel to find available options for that route and period. The app also presents a range of accommodation types, from bed and breakfasts to resorts, so travelers can consider different places to stay as they plan.
Search filters can be customized to refine the results. Decolar’s description also mentions exclusive discounts and personalized alerts, although it does not specify how alerts are configured or which bookings qualify for discounts.
Build a trip package
Rather than limiting planning to a flight or hotel, Decolar supports customized travel packages. Depending on what a traveler needs, a package can include transfers, tickets, tours, rental cars and insurance options. These services can be considered alongside flights and accommodation while organizing a trip.
Booking points
The app describes a loyalty program in which users accumulate points through bookings. Those points can later be exchanged for trips. The source does not provide details about how many points bookings earn or the terms for exchanging them.
