CMS NIFT is a mobile content management system for NIFT students, faculty and staff who need to access academic information and campus services through a phone. It provides an interface to the NIFT website, with services and information for members of the institution.
Checking academic progress and campus information
Students can use the app to view timetables, grades and attendance records, as well as notifications and admission tickets. Course information is also available, alongside campus details such as dining hall and holiday information. These resources make the app a point of access for academic records and practical campus updates.
Using admissions and fee services
When the admissions application window is open, applicants can access the admissions portal and complete online applications through the app. The admissions function is available only during that period. For fee tasks, students can log in to view payment records and outstanding fees, then make tuition payments through their smartphones.
Supporting teaching and college administration
Teachers can use CMS NIFT to manage courses, view student profiles and submit grades. These functions support academic work through the same mobile interface used for other NIFT services.
College staff can generate reports on student enrollment, curriculum design and academic performance. The reports provide information for institutional decision-making. Taken together, the student, teaching and staff functions place academic records and administrative services within one app, rather than requiring access to separate apps for those tasks.
