Chat Partner is an Android utility designed to help Huawei and Honor phone users add Google apps and the background components those apps need. Its main purpose is to simplify setup when services such as the Google Play Store are missing, rather than requiring users to install each dependency separately. The described process checks the device and installs relevant packages automatically. Root access is not required, although the app asks for device administrator privileges to carry out installation.
Which Google apps and components does it help install?
The listed components include the Google Play Store, Google Play services, and Google Services Framework. These supporting services matter because installing the store alone is not the whole setup described by the app. Chat Partner handles additional dependencies in the background to reduce the separate installation steps.
The description also names Google News and Google Search, and presents Gmail and YouTube as examples of apps users may want to add. Google Pay and installation of other apps from the phone’s storage appear in its feature list, but no detailed setup process or operating requirements are provided for those functions.
How does setup work, and does it require rooting?
Chat Partner analyzes the device, checks compatibility, and downloads and installs the relevant packages. The installation is described as automated background work, with a simple interface intended to make the process easier than manually installing services and troubleshooting their dependencies.
Root permissions are not necessary. Instead, users grant device administrator privileges so the app can install the required components. Those privileges can be revoked after installation. The description also says the utility can work on a rooted phone, but rooting is not a prerequisite.
Is it intended for phones beyond Huawei and Honor?
The stated target devices are Huawei and Honor Android phones. Although the feature list includes a broader reference to Android devices, the compatibility answers specifically restrict support to those two brands. Support for other manufacturers should therefore not be assumed. The supplied information does not establish a minimum Android version or give a model-by-model compatibility list.
Who may find this utility useful, and what does it cost?
Chat Partner is listed as free to download and use, with no in-app purchases required. Its focus is users of Huawei or Honor phones that lack Google apps and who want an automated way to add the associated services without rooting. The relevant setup requirement is granting administrator access during installation, rather than making root-level changes to the phone.
