CAPod – Companion for AirPods Mod is designed for people who use AirPods or Beats wireless earphones and want more information about their devices on an Android phone. Its description groups the app around three areas: real-time monitoring, detailed device information, and automation of everyday controls.
Battery and charging monitoring
The app is built to track battery life and charging progress for AirPods or Beats in real time. According to the description, it displays the individual battery level of each earbud as well as the charging case, which helps users check power levels in each part of the set rather than relying on a single figure.
Device status and case details
Beyond battery readings, the description says CAPod presents connection status, microphone usage, and case details. These items are grouped as device information, so the app functions as a status view for the earphones and their case.
Ear detection and automated connection
CAPod also includes automation features. Ear detection can automatically play or pause audio when an earbud is removed or inserted. The description also states that the app can automate pairing between AirPods and the phone, which reduces the need to connect the earphones manually each time they are used.
Ad-free design
The developer describes CAPod as user-friendly and unobtrusive, with an ad-free experience by default. This is a claim made in the app description and is presented here as the developer's stated design rather than an independently verified result.
