Bilibili Comics is a comic reading and search platform for discovering and following regularly updated series across a broad range of genres. Its catalog includes original, community, and Bilibili exclusive works, with choices described across romance, fantasy, mystery, horror, adventure, comedy, martial arts, office stories, and everyday plots. The app is centered on browsing available titles, opening chapters in a dedicated reader, and keeping track of series that matter to you.
Finding comics by genre and release activity
The discovery tools help organize the available catalog instead of limiting browsing to a single list. Comics and manga can be sorted and filtered by day, genre, and library, while the main browsing area presents currently trending titles for further exploration. Personalized suggestions are also described as a way to discover new stories, giving readers another route to series beyond their existing reading list.
The selection includes high-quality original artwork and stories from several types of catalogs. Readers can look for action and martial arts, light comedy, romance, fantasy, or darker mystery and horror themes. The source also describes thousands of titles and regular additions, although the exact availability of individual series may vary.
Reading chapters and managing a personal library
The built-in reader supports swipe-based page navigation and provides controls for adjusting brightness while reading. Readers can bookmark favorite chapters for later access and annotate pages. A library gathers chapters that are currently being read, making it possible to return to those series and continue from the saved reading position described by the app information.
Offline reading is supported, allowing selected comic content to be read without an active connection according to the supplied description. The app also supports sharing favorites with other people. These tools are grouped around the reading experience: finding a title, opening its chapters, preserving useful points of reference, and returning to ongoing series.
Following series and tracking new chapters
Readers can subscribe to favorite series and comment on them. Subscribed titles can provide notifications when new chapters are released, helping users follow continuing stories. A built-in calendar is also provided for tracking releases and chapter updates connected with comics being followed.
This combination of subscriptions, notifications, and calendar tracking is intended for readers who want to monitor more than one ongoing series. It separates newly released material from the library of chapters already being read, while genre and day-based filters provide additional ways to narrow what is available.
Documented reading considerations
The source describes a simple interface and convenient browsing, but it also identifies several limitations. A card pop-up feature may interrupt the reading experience, and the app does not provide a one-click scrolling function. The payment system uses coins, which the source characterizes as expensive, and it reports longer waiting times for users who do not pay. These points may affect how readers access or move through some content.
Bilibili Comics therefore combines a large comic catalog with practical tools for discovery, chapter tracking, and reading organization. Its documented controls cover sorting, filtering, subscriptions, notifications, offline reading, brightness adjustment, bookmarks, annotations, and sharing, while the listed payment and navigation considerations provide important context for using the service.
