BeFun Live helps people watch live talent performances, discover short videos, and interact with streamers and other viewers. Its live rooms bring singing, dancing, and other creator content together with room chat, so viewers can react while watching rather than leaving the broadcast. The app also supports private conversations, virtual gifts, and personalized recommendations that become more relevant as someone spends time using it. For creators, BeFun Live provides a way to broadcast performances and receive likes, gifts, or other rewards described in the app’s source material.
Short videos and live rooms
The app combines quick clips with live broadcasts for two different viewing styles. Short videos can be browsed at any time, while live rooms provide an ongoing space to watch hosts perform. Singing and dancing are specifically mentioned among the available performances. Because chat appears alongside the video, viewers can respond to the room while keeping the broadcast in view. Switching between short-form content and live rooms makes it possible to move from brief discovery to a longer performance without using separate services.
Public interaction and private messages
Live-room chat lets viewers interact with other enthusiasts while a show is taking place. When a discussion needs more privacy, users can open a live room or a profile and start a one-to-one conversation with a streamer. Private messages provide a way to continue a discussion away from the public room while still focusing on the creator or content that prompted it.
Gifts and compliments for creators
Viewers can choose a virtual item from the gift section and send it during a show. The gift appears in the room for everyone to see, making the support visible and giving the viewer a direct way to attract the host’s attention without interrupting the broadcast. The source also describes a compliment option in the live-streaming menu, available while a creator is live or at the end of the day. Creators may compliment viewers as well.
Discovery and broadcasting
BeFun Live presents channels covering different topics, giving users opportunities to meet performers and people with expertise in areas that interest them. Personalized recommendations are intended to help users find content aligned with their viewing habits as they continue using the app. People who want to perform can also stream their own talent. The supplied information says streamers may receive prizes or reward items such as coins and diamonds, and may earn money through streaming and inviting friends.
Android compatibility
BeFun Live requires Android 5.0 or later according to the supplied listing information.
