Barbie Color Creations Mod is an Android app by developer StoryToys, built around art and design for kids. According to the app description, players join the characters Brooklyn and Malibu on a journey that involves painting, sketching and designing inside an expanding bedroom.
Creative tools and customization
The app's creative space includes coloring books, tools, designs, locations and items. Kids can customize items and characters from Barbie movies and series, and the description says they can bring Barbie's memories to life by adding their own touches to the designs. Design tasks are based on these memories, giving the activities a story-driven structure.
Challenges and rewards
Kids can take on design challenges and earn unique rewards by completing design stories. According to the description, these rewards can be used to decorate a personal studio, which the app presents as a way to build a sense of accomplishment as children continue creating.
Saving and sharing designs
Designs can be saved as stickers and played with in 2D locations. Any drawing can also be downloaded to the device as an image, which makes it possible to share creations with friends and family outside the app.
Ideas for exploring the app
The description suggests that kids experiment with different color combinations, tools and techniques to develop their own style. It also notes that watching Barbie movies and series can inspire kids to recreate favorite scenes or characters with their own touch.
