Android VPN - free proxy 2018 is an Android VPN proxy app for connecting through different IP addresses and accessing websites, social networks, and videos that may be restricted on a user's current connection. It offers connections associated with India, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The app's description also presents it as a way to improve browsing, downloading, and video streaming speed, and says it is intended to help protect personal data when using public Wi-Fi. These are the app's stated purposes, not measured results.
Which locations can you connect through?
The app lists India, USA, and UK IP connections. Its description suggests selecting a USA or UK connection when seeking faster browsing or downloads, but does not provide comparative speed measurements or explain how to choose between locations beyond that guidance.
What kinds of content is the proxy intended to access?
The service is presented as a tool for reaching blocked or restricted websites, social networks, and videos. This may suit users looking for a VPN-style proxy when a site or service is unavailable on their current connection. The source does not specify which particular sites or apps are supported.
What does it say about speed and streaming?
The app describes itself as a speed booster and says it can make browsing and downloading faster and video streaming smoother. These are claims in the supplied description; it gives no test results or speed figures, and actual performance is not documented there.
What does the app offer for public Wi-Fi use?
The description says the VPN feature is intended to secure personal data and protect a device when using public Wi-Fi. It does not provide technical details about how this protection works, so users should treat this as the app's stated purpose rather than a specific security guarantee. The app may be relevant to people seeking proxy access to restricted content or a VPN connection on public networks.
